Music Scholarships
Local 308 funds annual music scholarships that enable student musicians to pursue private study. The Musicians' Union Scholarships, totaling $2500 each year, are administered by the Santa Barbara Foundation. For more information, follow this link: Santa Barbara Foundation Music Scholarships
Music Performance Fund
Past grants from the Music Performance Fund (MPF) have funded music education and outreach programs presented by a wide range of community arts organizations, including the Santa Barbara Symphony and Opera Santa Barbara. We have also supported performances in schools and at retirement homes by individual members and small ensembles of Local 308 musicians.
